Had the pleasure of doing some drum tech work on this album by Seattle indie-rock band Great Grandpa. The band had me come in and get drum tones dialed in for the majority of the songs on this record, which we tracked at Studio X in Seattle, WA. They rented a bunch of drum gear from me, and my beautiful 1950s Slingerland 24” kick drum can be heard across most of this album. I had such a blast helping out and setting up a buffet of different snares. I’m very proud of how the drums turned out here and kudos to Dylan on the mix, album sounds incredible.
Cuttlefish - Monsoon
Engineered, mixed, and mastered this single from Bellingham groovy rockers Cuttlefish. Additional engineering on “Monsoon” by Aedan Humphreys. Always a great time recording with these lovely young lads. Tracking done at the Salish Sea Studio in Fairhaven College and Champion Street Sound Studios in downtown Bellingham.
The Skellys - Coma
Mastered this album for Bellingham psychedelic rockers The Skellys. Really cool eclectic bunch of songs that span from Tame Impala-esque grooves to Düngen-esque psychadelic freakouts. The band has since broken up, but hopefully they all continue playing music separately!
Actress - Skin
Had a great time working with Bellingham indie rockers, Actress, on this Single. We tracked the majority of this song with some of my students at Champion Street Sound Studios in 2023 and I later mixed and mastered it for the band.
Frog Rocket - Chickadee
Mastered this song for Bellingham indie rockers, Frog Rocket.
Actress - Inside
Did some tracking, mixed, & mastered this single for Bellingham indie rockers, Actress. Always great to work with young musicians on their first studio releases and it was great working with folks with such drive and ambition, as well as a great ear for details when we were working on mixes. They put on a great live show too, go check them out!
Cuttlefish - Live at Fairhaven Studio
Mixed and mastered these two live in-studio performances by Bellingham band Cuttlefish. Spaghetti Western was tracked by one of my students, Aedan Humphreys, while Wasted was recorded by myself. Both were recorded live at the Salish Studio in Fairhaven College where I teach audio production.
Monstress - Hide
Recorded this song by Bellingham progressive hard rock band, Monstress, at the Salish Studios in Fairhaven College with a group of my students in about 6 hours. Mixed by the legendary Matt Bayles, mastered by Joel Day.
Chico Detour - Too Easy
Had the pleasure of collaborating with my friends in Seattle-based band Chico Detour on their first release. Mixed mostly fully analog at Champion Street Sound Studios with a couple songs ending up getting remixed digitally at my home studio later on. Mastered in my home studio as well.
Laamb - S/T

Whiskey Class - I Get It
I recorded, produced, and mixed this epic record by Seattle/Juneau rock band Whiskey Class. This one of my favorite records I’ve had the pleasure of working on and I’m really proud of how we all came together and made this one happen. Most of the tracking was done at the Unknown Recording Studio in Anacortes, WA with some additional tracking done at my home studio, the band’s houses, and a studio up in Juneau. This record was a big departure in sound for the group - which was formerly just Liz and Patrick - morphing into a full-on rock band when they introduced Alex on guitar. I was truly humbled by the trust this group put in me to make this transition smoothly and to execute the epic vision of this album. There’s a lot of layers on this record and these were pretty intense mixes to put together, but I think the end result is quite impressive - and best of all I have three new friends in my life. Put on some decent headphones and dive in!
Energy Pyramid - Levels
Mixed this record for anonymous Bellingham instrumental rockers Energy Pyramid.
Hello, World!
Full Color Dream - Grouse
I mastered this record for Bellingham band, Full Color Dream.
Kotlovan - Mementos
Had the pleasure of mixing this incredibly dense, layered, and lovely album for Everett artist Kotlovan. This album has such a wide variety of sounds and is unorthodox in all the best ways. Had a fun time implenting my own special version of the “Brauerize” technique with this one - tons of crazy FX and parallel buses and absolutely massive sessions.
LipStitch - Let's Talk
Had the pleasure of working with my friends in LiStitch on their second full-length record. We tracked the whole album in their garage and my home studio over the course of a few weeks and then mixed it all here at my home studio as well. Mastered at Black Belt Mastering.
Laamb - Seagullville 2
Had a great time producing, mixing, and mastering this record for Seattle band Laamb. Tracked everything down at The Unknown Recording Studio in Anacortes and then mixed and mastered everything up at my home studio in Bellingham. Had a great time making ridiculous loud guitar sounds with these guys.
Forest Ray - Windfucker (Jebivjetar)
Took another couple trips down to Jackpot! Studios down in Portland, OR to mix this wonderful record with Peter from Forest Ray. This album hit me in a different way than a lot of his older material that we’ve collaborated on. It’s more sentimental, more heartfelt, and more reflective than his older albums and I think it goes a long way in showcasing his growing maturity as a songwriter and as a musician. This is a delightful album for lovers of classic rock, country, psych rock, and music theory. All mixing was done from 2” 24-track tape down to 1/4” 2-track through Jackpot’s Neve summing console with me and Peter riding the faders all the way. Pure analog spontaneity.
